How to exchange your Bonus Points into call credit?

To exchange your Bonus points into Carrefour Mobile call credit, you first need to get registered by linking your Carrefour Bonus Card with your Carrefour Mobile SIM card.

1. Register

Register yourself through the section “My Account” from this website or send an SMS to 1988 to link your Carrefour Bonus Card with your Carrefour Mobile SIM card.
Via SMS, the message must contain following informations:

  • the text BONUS
  • the number of your Carrefour Bonus Card (code with 13 numbers starting with 229)
  • the birthdate of the Carrefour Bonus Card holder
  • the ZIP code of the Carrefour Bonus Card holder

Example : BONUS 2291234567890 26031972 1140
(leave a space between each data)

2. Exchange your Points Bonus

You can exchange your Points Bonus by sending an SMS to 1988.
The message must contain the following text:

  • BONUS 5 if you wish to receive 5 € call credit to all operators.
  • BONUS 9 if you wish to receive 60 minutes to all operators.

500 Bonus points = 5 € call credit to all operators or 60 minutes to call to all operators.
The exchange of Bonus points will be done immediately if you have at least 500 Bonus points.

Bonus Points balance

To know your Bonus points balance, send an SMS to 1988 with the following text: POINTS

Attention!

To make sure your registration is successful, you need to send the correct information (such as the correct zip code, birth date) in the text message to 1988, otherwise your subscription will fail. If you have any doubts about the data that is linked to your Carrefour Bonus Card, you can always contact them for free on 080091011.

You can’t exchange your Bonus points?

This is most probably due to the fact your personal data changed in the Carrefour Bonus Card system but in our Carrefour Mobile system we still have the old ‘false’ data (ex: When you move, your postal code is not accurate anymore in our system). Your personal data needs to be corrected in order to be up-to-date in the 2 systems. Please contact our Customer Service to update your data and be able to again exchange Bonus points.

"Automatic" reload

Opt for this automatic reload and you’ll never run out of call credit.

How does it work?

You choose beforehand the minimum amount at which you would like your account to be topped up automatically.
Once you’ve reached this limit, your card will be topped up automatically by the amount that you have chosen in advance. That way you will always be sure to have enough credit for your calls.

How to activate the service?

You need to have a Belgian, French, Dutch, Luxembourg or German Visa or Mastercard credit card.
Go to « My Account » to configure the service.

  • In “My Account”, you go to page « Reloads » and click on « Automatic reloads ».
  • Determine as reload frequency « when limit is reached », as well as the amount of the limit. You have the choice between: 1 €, 2 € ou 5 €.
  • Choose the amount you want to get automatically reloaded: 6 €, 12 €, 24 €, 36 € or 48 €.
  • You will then need to register all required credit card information (MasterCard or Visa) in the secure space provided for this purpose.
For example:

You choose 2 € as the minimum limit and a top-up amount of 12 €. Each time that your call credit goes below 2 €, your SIM card will be credited automatically with 12 €.
An SMS will be sent to you when the reload has been carried out. You are free to change the credit limit and the amount of the reloads as and when you want.

Would you like to manage your budget by using automatic top-ups? Well, you can choose an automatic top-up on a fixed date, so you won’t have to worry about topping up your card.

How does it work?

You choose a date on which you would like your card to be topped up.
On this date, your SIM card will be topped up automatically with the amount chosen by you beforehand.

How to active the service?

You need to have a Belgian, French, Dutch, Luxembourg or German Visa or Mastercard credit card.
Go to « My Account » to configure the service.

  • In “My Account”, you go to page « Reloads » and click on « Automatic reloads ».
  • Determine as reload frequency « monthly », as well as the date when you want your SIM card to be topped up. You have the choice between the 1st and the 15th of the month
  • Choose the amount you want to get automatically reloaded: 6 €, 12 €, 24 €, 36 € or 48 €.
  • You will then need to register all required credit card information (MasterCard or Visa) in the secure space provided for this purpose.
For example:

You choose the 15th as your date and 12 € as your top-up amount. On the 15th of each month your SIM card will automatically be credited with 12 €.
An SMS will be sent to you when the reload has been carried out. You are free to change the date and the amount of the reloads as and when you want.

Top up your card wherever you are or whenever it suits you best! Opt to top-up by SMS. You will have the freedom to top up your cell phone when you wish, no matter where you are!

How does it work?

You send a SMS message to 1988 with the amount you want to top up and your card will be topped up straight away.

How to active the service?

Go to « My Account » to configure the service.

  • In “My Account”, you go to page « Reloads » and click on « Reload by SMS ».
  • You will then need to register all required credit card information (MasterCard or Visa) in the secure space provided for this purpose.
  • To top up your SIM card, all you will need to do is send an SMS for free to 1988 with the text PLUS (space) followed by the amount with which you wish to top up. You can choose 6, 12, 24, 36 or 48.
For example:

To top up by 12 €, send an SMS with the following text: PLUS 12
An SMS will be sent to you when the reload has been carried out. You can use this service as many times as you like (although there is a limit of 50 € per day).

You want to change your settings?

You just need to modify your new choices on this same page by clicking the “cancel” button. You can as well decide to stop the service at any moment.
